About Us
Non-Profit
We are a non-profit coffee shop in the Downtown West neighborhood of St. Louis, MO. We exist to serve our community and make a difference in our neighborhood and around the world by providing supportive employment and using our profits to fund safe-water initiatives.
Safe Water
At Anchor Room Coffeehouse, we're passionate about providing safe water for people who do not have access to it. We've seen first hand how access to safe water can transform a community. We will be using our profits to fund safe-water projects in developing countries.
Supportive Employment
Anchor Room Coffeehouse believes in giving people a second chance. Sometimes people have a hard time finding or keeping a job and just need a little extra guidance. Taking a cue from Bridge Bread and Laughing Bear Bakery, we strive to help people get back on their feet.

It is with great sadness that Anchor Room Coffeehouse announces the closing of their doors on July 31st, 2024.
Since July 14, 2021, this coffeehouse, founded by a small group of visionary women, has thrived despite the challenges of a national pandemic and a downtown neighborhood in transition. We've celebrated three years of service, job training, and community support. However, at this time, we face hardships that are beyond our control.
We deeply appreciate your loyal patronage and generosity and hope to continue to serve you in the future.
